HOUSE MUSIC 2026
How did you first get into music production, and who is your biggest inspiration?
I fell in love with house music through CD compilations when I was growing up on Sakhalin Island in Russia. At first, I dreamed of becoming a DJ and playing around the world, but eventually I realized I wanted to create my own music. With no formal musical education, I learned everything through years of trial and error, studying production, investing in gear, and constantly improving my craft.
My inspirations have evolved over time. Early on, by Born To Funk, Olav Basoski, Ian Pooley, Bob Sinclar completely opened a new world for me. Later, artists like Avicii, Zedd, Skrillex, Kygo, and Calvin Harris inspired me by showing how far creativity and persistence can take you.
What is the story behind your latest release/mashup?
One of my biggest recent releases is “Disco Africa” on Toolroom Trax. The track was created while I was taking an intensive production course with Toolroom Academy. I discovered an incredible African vocal, built a piano-driven groove around it, and focused on creating something unique rather than chasing a label release.
After receiving initial feedback, I assumed the track wasn’t going to be signed. Then one morning in Los Angeles, I woke up to an email from Toolroom offering a release deal. It was one of the most exciting moments of my career.
What is the most memorable moment from your recent live sets?
Recently, I played at Belmont Pier in Long Beach, right on the water with an amazing crowd and atmosphere. The most memorable part wasn’t the location – it was seeing everyone dancing, singing, and sharing the same energy. When a room feels completely connected through music, that’s the best feeling a DJ can experience. Shout out to Secret Service LBC, Sal and Ciara, for keeping Long Beach supplied with quality House Music.
What are your main goals for your music career this year?
My biggest goal is to continue developing my own signature sound. I blend influences from Disco, House, and UK Garage while focusing on creating high-energy, feel-good music that brings people together.
I also hope to continue building relationships with labels, promoters, and venues while reaching bigger audiences through both my releases and live performances.
What can your fans expect from you next?
More music, more collaborations, and more positive energy. I’m working on new releases with talented friends from the Discoluminati, along with fresh originals and remixes.
